Catalytic Investments

Additionally, the Global Fund approved the CCM proposals for the scale up of evidence informed HIV programs for key and vulnerable populations (3.6m USD) and removing human rights barriers in access to HIV programs (2.3m USD) to be implemented by WAPCAS.

The approval of these additional funds increases the ceiling of the WAPCAS budget to US$ 13,344,568 through 31 December 2020.

 

CCM Membership Renewal

CALL FOR CCM MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL FOR 2018-2020

CCM Ghana is a partnership consisting of 25 members representing public and civil society constituencies and development partners. Together they are responsible for the coordination and submission of concept notes to the Global Fund as well as for oversight of the progress of program implementation. CCM members are committed to prevention, treatment, care and support for HIV, Tuberculosis, and Malaria and to building resilient systems for sustainable health. They participate in the CCM proceedings, including quarterly and extraordinary meetings, where they represent the interests and concerns of their constituencies. CCM members hold regular consultations with their constituencies to inform them about proceedings at the CCM and Global Fund. Learn more about the responsibilities of CCM members.

The three year membership of the CCM is being renewed for the 2018-2020 period. Each constituency shall select a Substantive and an Alternate CCM member. Individuals representing a single organization or company rather than a constituency are not eligible for membership on the CCM. The selection of substantive and alternate members shall be documented and filed with the CCM secretariat not later than December 31, 2017.

Four grants approved

The Ghana CCM is glad to announce that the Board of the Global Fund approved four grants (HIV/TB, Malaria/RSSH, WAPCAS, AGAMal). The grants are expected to be signed within January 2018.

On this occasion the CCM would like to thank all stakeholders for their invaluable contributions and hard work. The Ghana CCM is fully committed to ensuring the best use of the funds and to maximizing efforts towards a healthier Ghana.
